A video directed by Yannig Willmann
With an original soundtrack by Isambard Khrustaliov

4min.Hd

Definition: giving oneself up to gadfly distractions. Thus: a changeable person, one not to be trusted. /// The film is the fruit of the continued collaboration between filmmaker Yannig Willmann and composer Isambard Khroustaliov.

Ghafla is an experimental 3D animation aiming for a fusion between synthetic and musical symbolic representation. Drawing on a range of techniques and procedures from both disciplines it uses a simple staging concept to interrogate the narrative possibilities within the genre. The final product aims to draw the viewer into a complete immersive world, without necessary recourse to traditional cinematic methodologies.

Bass Clarinet - Lothar Ohlmeier
Piano - Gareth Humphreys
Violin - Joe Townsend
